I strongly agree I am 38 yrs old and can play nothing. But recently started my lifelong dream of playing the banjo and right for a beginner you can really come up with some kewl notes. I also own a Deering Goodtime 2 banjo and love it and you can use it to trade ofp if you so desire but I have been told that this is such quality that it will last up to 5 or so years before I will need anthing or want another one. Another good book and video is Banjo Primer with Geoff Howald he taches Scruggs style playing too
