I am a mighty big fan of traditional music, but lately the country scene has been kind of bland. I kind of lost hope in it. Until I saw this album at a Sam Goody about twenty miles from my hometown. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band apparently made a third volume of Will the Circle be Unbroken. That weekend I just happened to be headin out on a vacation so I wanted a CD to listen to. It was so nice to hear songs like Take Me in Your Lifeboat and to hear Johnny Cash sing even in his condition. "Tears In the Holston River" truly gives you a "tear" or two. In the state this country is in right now, we NEED more country like this. Take note future stars. I don't want more pop country crap. I want MORE traditional country like the Dirt Band offers us in this album. Thank God for people like Earl, Randy, and the Dirt Band for keepin my country real!!!!
Sincerely,
Nick Larson
P.S. come to Minneapolis, MN. I LIVE THERE!!!
