As a fellow fan of Mr. Scruggs, I do not appreciate fans writing angry letters towards him just because they did not get to personally talk to them. I have had the luck to speak with him on a couple occasions at different concerts, and I find that he is a very down-to-earth person and is not pretentious at all. I read one of your earlier posts in which you described him as believing that he is too good for you anymore since he has money. I believe that comment to be prejudiced. Just as some people are prejudiced against poor people, there are those that are prejudiced against people who have money. I also believe that if a celebrity of the caliber of Mr. Scruggs spoke to everyone at his concerts, that he would never get anything else done. Is it not good enough for you to get to see him play. His concerts are for his fans, and apparently that is not good enough. Basically, you are saying that he is not good enough for you. I do not appreciate this attitude. Do you want people to come to your work and barrage you with requests to speak to you personally. What if you did not have time? Is it your fault that you did not have time? I would hope that the person would understand as you seemingly do not. I would also appreciate that in further posts you do not talk badly of him in this manner. Saying that you will not come to his concerts anymore is a very silly and immature response, in fact it sounds rather psychotic. Please refrain from future bashings to his character.
