I don't know if they are "true bluegrass"..probably not. They're what I like to call progressive bluegrass. However, why does it matter what they are called? I'm not as crazy about their second album as I am their debut, but
that's going to happen at times. Some would say Alison Krauss (their producer) isn't true bluegrass. If you have her cd "Forget About It,"
you know it's not bluegrass. But she is loved and adored by most of the bluegrass community. People experiment, and who cares as long as it's good music?
