I read about this NPT special and it said it is to be shown sometime this summer on NPT's Great Performance Series. I attended the taping and what a great performance by all involved. There is a bit of misinformation in the above article. The two performances listed "Blue Moon of Kentucky" and "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" were not included in the taping.
It was incredible when Earl walked on stage to a standing ovation. Two more followed during his set. Then a fourth when he and Glen Duncan later played a banjo and fiddle tune with the other band members joining in. It is amazing to watch this legend.
