Thanks Charles, and to Vicki also.
My sons and I enjoy going to the places where these wonderful people grew up. We enjoy seeing their homes, schools, where they walked, and what it might have been like for them before they were fameous. Earl has been my hero ever since I was 13 and was lucky enough to meet him once when he played at Northern KY. University. I fired one question at him after another and he patiently answered everyone. He autographed my Earl Scruggs and the 5-String Banjo book and he let my buddy and I sit in for the sound check. Just two teenage boys in a huge auditorium and there before us was Earl, Josh, Vasser, Gary and Randy! After that he made sure we had tickets to get in that night and see the show. We couldn't afford them, we just showed up to try to meet him and he got us into the show that night.
Earl would never remember it, but its a wonderful memory that has stayed with me for almost 30 years. And now my boys idolize him - and rightfully so.
Thanks again for your help.
