HOLLYWOOD (AP) _ The Hollywood Walk of Fame will get its first star for a banjo-player, early next year.
¶ Earl Scruggs will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Feb. 13th. He will be honored for his more-than-55 years of musical creation and performances, on records, radio, television and films.
¶ Although he won a Grammy for his work on "O Brother Where Art Thou," Scruggs may be best-known for his composition "Foggy Mountain Breakdown," and for recording the "Ballad of Jed Clampett" with his then-partner Lester Flatt.
