I have been playing 5-string banjo since a teen. I have a great banjo teacher now who is a dedicated Earl Scruggs fan. He won the national banjo championship in Kansas one year.He brought me back to the basics and told me if I would learn all the Scruggs songs like Earl plays them, I would be an advanced banjo player. Well, I am learning them and having the time of my life! I mean at 46 years old I am having a blast playing banjo! THANKS EARL!!!
