I was in the airforce in france in 1958 and played with a Banjo player by the name of Johnny Farmer. Played a Gibson Mastertone with tuners. PLayed every scruggs tune recorded. He said he did some fill in work with the band when Earl was in the car wreck . anyone got any info on this. I am trying to locate him.
