Thank you so much to Randy and Louise for teaching me Earl's banjo history about the Scruggs-Ruben capo. I'm satisfied with your answer very much. And , if I can, I want to know a little more about the difference between Ruben ( the name stamped on the capo) and Rueben, and about its meaning, too.
By the way, I have two Ruben capos and we found some different type (length of the straight part, depth and size of stamped letter "Scruggs-Ruben", place of the screw hole on the crescent part, etc.) with my friends on this August. We enjoyed talking a lot about Ruben capo and Earl's play at Nutter Center in Ohio in this April.
