I awoke yesterday at 6 am hearing the sounds of my excited son asking, "When are we going to see Earl Scruggs?" Alas, sleeping late was not an option.
I'm sure that last night's (15 September 2002) concert represented another long day and night on the road. Mr. Scruggs, however, elected to stay late and sign autographs.
This morning I am the proud parent of an excited 4-year-old who entered his school telling everyone, "I met Earl Scruggs last night!"
Tonight he'll sleep in his Earl nightshirt (a medium adult shirt) with memories of meeting the "nice man that plays Foggy Mountain Breakdown."
