How does one find a promoter? My children and I (a divorced mother) are full time gospel singers and I have two extremely talented children. My son just turned 12 and he plays banjo, mandolin, violin, guitar and bass guitar better than most adults. He plays guitar almost unheard of and can sing alto while playing lead on the fiddle. My daughter who is 13 plays fiddle & violin and mandolin with exceptional meaning and depth. They both sing and can yodel in two part harmony. I want to keep them singing and playing to inspire youth to get interested in music and to touch souls for Christ but we can just barely make it. I need some advice on how they could audition so someone could see just how much talent these two kids have. It is amazing. We won instrumentalist of the year for the state of Ohio in 2001, first place as a group in 1998 at Renfro Valley's Gospel Talent Search, plus, my children have won numerous awards for fiddle and violin. Could you please, let me know some people to contact to help us with promotions so that we can keep on playing. There are certain musicians that are born gifted and if there ever were two gifted musicians that is my children. They have been use to singing in front of people since they were two years old and they are beautiful to go with it. I hope someone reads this and emails me back with some much needed information.
Thank you so much and thank you Mr. Scruggs for the many years your beautiful banjo music has brought joy to people's hearts. Thank you for your time. Sue King
