I found this website while searching for verification of my observation of these artists being filmed for the video in three different locations/times. All the artists except for Steve Martin and Paul Shaffer are shown together many times. The only time I ever saw all of them together was a chance-viewing of the David Letterman show when they were all there playing for the audience. My first impression was that Steve Martin was pulling another one of his jokes. But I heard him playing myself and no "lip-sync'ing". He's a rather excellent Banjo player. The video is an excellent combination of audio and video expertise coming together to overcome scheduling and time constraints.
