If you're the one who's reading this, I hope you have as much sucess in pickin' the Banjo as you had in years past. I don't know if you remember me or not..many years ago, I played electric bass with you and Horace, and a few more, in the living room of Horace's house. I'm Preacher Jenkins' grandson, Roy. I had a good time that night, and will always remember it. I still have the photo someone made of the whole group that played that night.
I don't play bass much any more...just occasionally on Saturday nights at a place in Uptown Shelby called Leatherwood's. For Bluegrass, that's the happenin' place around here on Saturday nights.
I better let you go...tell Louise I said a big hello, and I hope Horace and Maida are doing A-OK.
