It saddens me to announce on this board that Ms. Mamie Certain, mother of Earl's wife Louise, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. She was 98.
Ms. Certain was taken to Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon, March 22, 2003 following a stroke. It was the first time in her long life that she had ever been admitted to a hospital.
Ms. Certain, affectionately known as "Granny" to many of her younger friends, is truly loved and will be greatly missed.
My deepest sympathy to Louise, Earl and family and friends.
