Shouldn't that read as "we once knew it," rather than as "we know it?" With the exception of the M.C. there wasn't a single Grand Ole Opry performer on last week's televised portion. What a tragedy this institution has fallen into hands that completely ignore the ones who built it. If they are going to terminate their personnel, they should take a look at whomever is responsile for this inane programming on the Grand Ole Opry and put them at the top of the list of the next to be fired. Send your petition to the Gaylord Management for their removal as well. Perhaps the Grand Ole Opry might get back to country music again with decision makers who care about it. There is no heart in the GOO programming management.They should be next in line to go.
