Mr Scruggs,
I have been playing the banjo for about 25 years now. I was given a ShoBud Banjo by the late Shot Jackson who used to hunt on some property that my family owns in southeast Georgia. I play with two different groups as much as possible, and recently bought a Gibson Scruggs model. This is an outstanding banjo. It has taken my playing to new heights. Without you as my banjo "hero" I probably would have quit playing by now. It has not been easy to learn, but I am now reaping the rewards of perserverance. Even though you and I have never met, you have always been an inspiration to me, and a role model to follow. Thank you.
