I don't have the book anymore so I don't remember where the mistakes are. I do remember that many of the slides and hammer ons were tabbed incorrectly etc.

Once again, it is really a shame that the book's printers were in the early stages of learning how to read and publish tablature when they were originally trained to read notation. This is probably why there are so many tablature errors and not music notation errors.

You won't end up being a terrible banjo player if you did use the book--it still remains a "Classic" by the Master. It's just that the way most of the songs are tabbed is not the way Earl played them.

My site has many of the tabs in the book and I believe they are pretty accurate. I hope this helps you a little.....email me if you want and I'll try to help a little more.........Jack
