The readers of this message board...please correct me if I am wrong. Even though the liner notes say otherwise, my oscilliscope shows that Earl is singing "Big Ball in Brooklyn" on the Carnegie Hall concert CD that can be found in the Bear Family collection. I separated one of the FM Boys' gospel numbers to single out Earl's baritone and compared the wavelengths to Big Bal and it was really close. One drunken friend of mine attended that concert and said that Earl sang it...but, again, my friend was drunk. Maybe David Schenck can ask the Man himself? I hope he does because I have wondered about that for years.
