I believe Nickel Creek is a great band, making great records. They are not a bluegrass group, but I think it's important to point out that they don't CLAIM to be bluegrass. I don't hold them at fault for being labeled bluegrass -- lay that blame at the door of CMT and certain music critics who are out of touch with what country music really is.
Enjoy Nickel Creek for what it is -- a great acoustic band...
