I would suggest buying the Flatt & Scruggs Millenium Collection. It is inexpensive, has a lot of classic Flatt & Scruggs (including FMB) and has a great picture of Earl & Lester on the cover. I'm sure that you could scan the picture.
Good luck with your project. You don't need to look much farther than Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and the Stanleys to get the real deal with Bluegrass.
