Since i'm new to the pc world, I dont know if Earl will get to read this message but here it goes. I have been a banjo enthusiast /lover, since my father first introduced me to it around 1970/71 at age six.I still own that 'KENT' tenor he bought new. Today I still can't read a note of music, but enjoy teaching myself the guitar,banjo,and mandolin.Two weeks ago , while listening to'Keep on the sunny side' from the F&S 'songs of the famous Carter family' CD, and thought to myself ,'I should be able to figure this out'. 20 mins. later ,guitar in hand, I was chording and picking the melody notes. I'm still trying to figure out my cheapie 5-string ,but finding time between wife & two young daughters is tough. Anyway, a personal email back from you, Earl, or an auto graphed picture would be highly treasured by myself and my father . We think your talents are top notch and listen to your music faithfully .
