Hey to all,

In an earlier response to a post on this message board, I mentioned that I would have several additional tunes that Earl played on the guitar transcribed and be available for download. They are ready and most likely will be posted next Saturday. The site is www.olms-music.com and is called the Fingerstyle Guitar Resource Center. The tunes are:

1. The Wildwood Flower from the extended Carnegie Hall cd.

2. You Are My Flower from the Vanderbilt Live cd/lp.

Additionally, there are three other of Earl's guitar tunes already posted:

1. Georgia Buck
2. Little Rosewood Casket
3. Cannonball Blues

To read and listen to a midi playback of these tabs, you need to download either TablEdit or TEFview. Both are free programs and may be downloaded at www.tabledit.com or www.olms-music.com.

I'm proud to say that one of my musical buddies on that site, Jack Baker, has transcribed a number of Earl's banjo pieces and posted them not only on the FGRC site but on his website as well. It is:
http://www.frettedinstrumentsnyc.com/.

If you just can't wait a week, send me an email and I'll attach any of those tunes to the reply. What I ask is that after listening to the tune, write me back with comments, criticisms, etc.

I hope this helps those of you that love Earl's music as much as I do.

Best regards,
Mike
