I just read in Bluegrass Unlimited (May 2002, page 91) that Earl Scruggs will be at the Virginia Folk Music Association's 3rd. Annual Bluegrass festival on September 29,2002.
The festival is advertised to be September 26th through the 29th at the Chester County Fairgrounds. Eight miles South of Richmond Virginia.
However it appears that Earl will only be there on the 29th. It is not really clear from the advertisement. I called a few phone numbers on the flyer and only got answering machines.
Please get the facts for yourself so I don't mislead anyone.
